Friday News|Sharing Adlandpro - Jun 27, 2014

Starting out this Friday news is a question to those of you who are not on the Wall on a regular basis ( and of course to those who are)..
A Member ( Hafiz) made  a suggestion that the $200.00 credit contest reward be split up among more users. In effect this would mean that everyone who collected a minimum of 600 points would share in the $200.00 reward.
A lot of members have come in and voiced their thoughts and opinions and for that I say thank-you. I feel the more people who come in and talk about these issues, will help in coming up with a good solution for all. This has always been a strong point to Adlandpro, that we can talk to each other and come up with solutions.
My personal opinion is Participation will happen if the thread or the content is of interests to some group of people. Even more if the content or conversation is solving a person’s problem or allowing/encouraging people to voice their opinions on important topics or gives them platform to find like minded people.
Your thoughts are very important so please join this conversation and lets see what we can come up with. The thread to this conversation is here

QZZR and the marketing Quiz

A Marketing quiz using Qzzr

Is this a blog post about a new tool or resharing a marketing quiz?
I guess its a little bit of both to be honest.
On Monday June I had created a blog post titled “A Marketing quiz” and although the questions being asked were good ( or I think they were good lol), the fact is this quiz was not interactive.
Chuck Bartok, mentioned this fact (thank you Chuck) and he was right to do so.
As you can see at the bottom of this post I have corrected the issue and have redone the quiz so that is it now interactive.
The fact is that when you are a blogger or a marketer, finding ways and means to create interest and exposure is important and anything that will hold a readers interest  and want to know more is an important part of creating a good marketing strategy.

A Marketing Quiz

Starting the week off with a marketing quiz to get the juices flowing!

How many of you are told that you are lucky to be working at home and how much freedom you have?
Personally when I have been told that, I laugh a lot as the reality is that a lot of work goes into making any kind of living with “internet marketing” or having a home business.
While you may not have to go to the office everyday, without adhering to a fixed schedule and having a good work ethic, I feel it safe to say that you will not have much success.

Guaranteed Signups

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote an article about making money with PPC (Pay-Per-Click), looking at it from both being a PPC user and being a PPC affiliate. A question came up about that, regarding how to do the research for keywords and PPC. That is a terrific topic, and is one I plan to address, shortly.
Today, however, I want to talk about so-called “Guaranteed Signups.” For a few years, now, it has seemed that this was a dead product, but it appears to be making a comeback, especially in places like Fiverr, SEOClerks, and several other of their competitors.
Over the years, people have asked me about guaranteed signups. Here are some of the questions and my short answers, followed by perhaps some eye-opening information.

High Heels and fun facts about feet

Before talking about the fascinating world of high heels and other interesting facts about shoes and feet, I wanted to share this funny compilation of  high heel fails. While they are funny, I also felt for these ladies as I know how it feels to fall in high heels..boy do I ever!
When you see a woman walking down the street wearing high heeled shoes, there is little doubt that she looks striking, provocative and dare I say sexy?
While they may have all of these words alluded to the woman wearing high heels, the reality is that they are not the most comfortable nor the most safe items to wear!
I am unsure if you are experienced with the high heel, but I can tell you from sad experience that they get stuck in things when you least expect it.  I learned to never walk on grass ( especially wet grass), ice, polished floors or even cobbled streets. When I drove, I took the dang things off as they got in the way of the pedals!

How to Make Money Online

How to Make Money Online (hint:  it’s not difficult)

by Dave Cottrell
“How to make money online,” a search term that has probably has more traffic than a very great many other long tail terms, should probably more realistically be “how to get rich quick with no work or effort of any kind.”  How to Make Money online

We will get back to the how to make money online in a minute, but here are the things many people are really looking for and even seriously pursuing, which you should be avoiding at all costs.
Another hint:  These things were DESIGNED to target suckers.  There is no other, kinder way to put it.  These are really good ways to LOSE money.

Pay Per Click Profits

Pay Per Click (PPC) is most often thought of as a way to get your product or service in front of a very targeted audience.    By “bidding” on keywords that pertain to what you are selling, you hope that people will click on your links ahead of everyone else’ links, and even better, buy what you are marketing. Pay per click affiliate profits
Pay Per Click is a good way to market your product or service, and has been the key to success for many businesses.  It requires good research and an advertising budget, but done properly, is very successful.   An advertiser who has figured out what keywords bring in the most paying clicks for his product can pretty much write his own paycheck.
The downside to pay per click advertising is that you can spend a lot of money and get nothing in return.  This has become an issue with Google’s PPC program.  As the old saying goes, they have been hoisted by their own petard, or hung by their own rope.  Because of their massive size, the cost for PPC on Google has become very expensive in many areas.

Pinterest Tips, Tools and Resources

Pinterest tips are useful for everyone from the newbie as well as the seasoned marketer because you can always learn something new.

How many of you remember when Pinterest started?..and how many of you use Pinterest  as part of your marketing strategy?
In my case I started to use Pinterest late 2010 after seeing a really cool lady sharing these things called pins. When ever I would go there I was intrigued by what was going on, but I never had a clue as to the real importance of Pinterest.
To me, it was all about these awesome quotes and at times, those yummy recipes.
