Friday News|Sharing Adlandpro - Jun 27, 2014

Starting out this Friday news is a question to those of you who are not on the Wall on a regular basis ( and of course to those who are)..
A Member ( Hafiz) made  a suggestion that the $200.00 credit contest reward be split up among more users. In effect this would mean that everyone who collected a minimum of 600 points would share in the $200.00 reward.
A lot of members have come in and voiced their thoughts and opinions and for that I say thank-you. I feel the more people who come in and talk about these issues, will help in coming up with a good solution for all. This has always been a strong point to Adlandpro, that we can talk to each other and come up with solutions.
My personal opinion is Participation will happen if the thread or the content is of interests to some group of people. Even more if the content or conversation is solving a person’s problem or allowing/encouraging people to voice their opinions on important topics or gives them platform to find like minded people.
Your thoughts are very important so please join this conversation and lets see what we can come up with. The thread to this conversation is here

Drip marketing and Social Marketing

A great example is posting an educational or information post on a blog. When you do that you are inviting people to respond to the author and then they share with others – that is drip marketing that is interactive!
It actually is pretty exciting when you think about it and here is a post that I think will give you an even beter idea on how to do drip marketing through social media.

Just a question for you  - Do you agree that it takes 29 times for a person to view a “marketing message” before you get a customer?  That number seems rather high to me, so let me know your experiences and why you agree or disagree?

Social Media Etiquette: how to connect with people

Social Media Etiquette

I realized after getting some friend “invites” on Adlandpro that were at best a sales letter and at worse a spam invite, that maybe it was time to talk about how to get friends and then keep them or maybe a better wording would be how to use good manners when connecting with people.
The fact is social networking is all about building relationships and you do that through communicating. When you send an invite that is a sales pitch..what are you saying about YOU?
